 Introduction
If you
have an area of expertise, you can create an additional income stream by offering
a TeleClass or TeleClass series. TeleClasses are offered via a teleconference
call with anywhere from 4-100+ people. This is a great way to use knowledge and
expertise from a previous career or industry. TeleClasses allow you to leverage
your time. Many coaches offer a free TeleClass as a preview to a fee-based TeleClass
series.
TeleClasses are similar to group coaching in that a group of people
are together on one call, yet there are some key distinctions.

Hello, my name is Carol Alka and I am a coach
who specializes in Career and Life Transitions.  I have found that conducting a great TeleClass
can lead to many good things in life. I conduct a TeleClass called "Take
Control of your Life: Transition into the Career you have Always Wanted."
I start out with a FREE session giving lots
of details about making a transition in your life. Many people who want to make
a change really don't know where to start. This class gives them an opportunity
to discuss their fears with others while they get some real practical advice from
someone who has been there and done that. When people leave my FREE session TeleClass
they have a complete list of places to start and things to think about. Plus I
have a host of additional questions and ideas to expand my coaching practice.
Those who leave my FREE session class, have
an opportunity to join a group coaching session later in the month. This group
is usually made up of people who are really serious about making the change in
the next few months. I generally have 3 or 4 people in this paid 3-part series.
This method of coaching allows those who want and need some coaching to get their
feet wet, while minimizing the cost. (Group coaching is much more cost effective
for the client, $49 for the 3-part session.)
After the group coaching session, I usually
pick up one or two new clients who want to spend more time developing their future
and realize it really is time to "Take Control." But the income stream
does not stop there. With all the knowledge and ideas that have been stimulated
from these classes and coaching sessions, I have now developed a group workshop.
I offer this "Transitions" workshop to my existing corporate clients
and also to community groups and local seminar producers. Both sessions have been
very successful and I have been rewarded with some great new clients.
And if you think the income stream stops at
that point, think again. All of this additional knowledge has given me the opportunity
to put together a couple of e-books. The e-book topics include: Asking Effective
Questions, Making Transitions Painless and Building a Workable Mission in Life.
All of these topics relate to my experiences in life and how I have been able
to help others make the transitions.
When you develop your first FREE session,
don't develop the longer version until you have received feedback from at least
2 or 3 FREE sessions. The more input from potential clients, the better your content
will be. And have fun with it. Giving a TeleClass is hard work, but if you aren't
making it fun for yourself and your clients, you won't get the results you want
to achieve. TeleClass have been a great launch to my business. I challenge you
to find a topic and jump in…and if you still have some FEAR…Get a Coach!

Hi my name is Sandy Forster and I run a TeleClass series
called "Millionaire Mindset - 7 steps to Your Financial Freedom  and surefire strategies to Increase your Prosperity Forever".
Going from a $15,000 annual income to over 10 times that much in one year but
still struggling financially seems ridiculous - but that's what happened
to me! I realized there was far more to being wealthy than learning the secrets
to manifesting money - you also need to know how to manage it and make it grow.
I immersed myself on the subject of
attracting and managing money and once I was able to change my direction from
financial chaos toward financial freedom, I realized there must be many others
who would love to be able to experience greater levels of Prosperity in their
lives and would benefit from the thousands of hours of research I'd done so I

I
decided very early in my coaching career (I've been a coach for one year now)
that I wanted to make maximum money for minimum time. Living in a beautiful part
of the world on the coast of Australia, my lifestyle is my priority - so reaching
many people at once from around the world through TeleClasses seemed like the
perfect option.
I
offer a FREE introductory class through TeleClass.com and usually have between
40-100 people participate. The Free class is full of information and hot tips
that people get real value for - I want participants to walk away with specific
information that will allow them to attract more abundance into their lives.
After spending an hour with me, participants can feel if my style (fast-paced
and fun!!) and the knowledge I have to share will be of benefit to them. At the
end of the class I spend around 5 minutes giving those that are interested some
details about my 8 week TeleClass and around 15%-20% decide to join the paid series.
The Millionaire Mindset Teleclass is
offered a few times a year, and I also offer each
class on Audio-Podium (if the class time clashes with the participants schedule,
they can phone into a recording of the live class 24 hrs a day). I have anywhere
from 12 to 45 people sign up for each 8 week series.
I
have 3 price packages available - Gold, Deluxe and Elite - and full tuition for
the 8 week series ranges between $255 up to $1,200 (the higher priced packages
include extras like home-study audio-tape sets, a series of private Prosperity
Coaching sessions with me, being able to repeat the program as many times as they
want for free etc.)
Each week the participants join the call and spend on hour listening,
questioning, sharing and generally linking in with a group of like-minded people
that are focused on bringing more Abundance and Prosperity into every area of
their lives. When I coach an individual on the call, all the other participants
benefit too, and when one person has something exciting happen using the exercises
and tools they've learned in the class - we ALL get excited!! Around 10% of the
class hire me to coach them one-on-one after the series is finished, which I really
enjoy doing as the client very quickly makes progress with such focused attention
and it really re-enforces what they've learned in the TeleClass.
Also, I offered to take coaches from one of the leading Coach Training
Academies here in Australia through my Millionaire Mindset series (for free).
After taking me up on my offer they saw the benefit it had on the coaches personal
and business lives and now I take their trainee coaches throughout Australia
and N.Z. through the series (paid this time!!) In fact, it currently looks like
I'll be taking all their coaches in the U.K. and Europe through the program too!
Suggestions related to Teaching Your Own TeleClasses
Choose a topic that you're an expert
in and passionate about!
Determine the size of your market for your topic before you spend the
time and effort creating the TeleClass.
After you create the program, offer the TeleClass(es) for free or at
a discounted price to test and refine the class.
If
you offer a free information filled TeleClass determine which fee-based products
and services you are going to upsell or offer the participants.
