Our Power Up class led by Sarah was a truly amazing start of my new journey of living my dream to become a human connection transformation coach and help others to live their life under their terms, to live up to their full potential and overcome fears to live their dreams. Here is what she wrote about her first coaching sessions with her three practice players…
Player #1:
This coaching was the first one so the most emotional for me. I really wanted to make sure I do it right but at the same time I wanted to stay relaxed and have fun on the way. An interesting peak experience for me! 🙂 During this session I realised how important it is for myself to understand the terminology and the whole Human connection transformation concept.
Even though we follow the guide, sometimes the player does not understand what is meant by certain word formulations and that is when I had to jump in and tried to explain all using my own words. This was honestly the biggest practice for me in terms of understanding what actually it is all about. So interesting to see how I was learning together with the player. As they say – the best way how to learn is to teach someone else – and it is so true!! And we managed to activate the dream!! Yaaay 🙂
Player #2:
As the whole conversation was in Czech, I tried to follow the structure from the guide but used my own Czech translation, which brought the whole coaching into a new perspective. It was challenging but we made it and the best reward was after the session when the player proactively reached out to me with a beautifully designed note about my coaching: being grateful for this experience and stating that I am someone who they have been looking for their whole life.
They also encouraged me to use this as a reference if needed in the future. I was so touched and could not believe my eyes when I was reading it. This experience was truly a very nice encouragement for me to keep going and ensuring me I am on the right path doing the right thing! I am soooo grateful!!
Player #3:
The conversation was smoother than those before or maybe just my perception of it as I started to feel more and more confident and was vibing more with the flow. The script is very useful to keep the flow but still sometimes I struggle with it and feel I do not sound authentic when i try to use the exact formulations instead of rephrasing them in my own way. Something I definitely want to practice and focus on during my next sessions – to find the right balance, to automate the form so much that I can easily put the whole authentic me into the picture! I can’t wait for my next sessions to see how it goes.
