It is based on Thomas Leonard’s Attraction Principle #27 called: Have a Vision

WHEN YOU CAN SEE WHAT’S COMING, YOU DON’T NEED TO CREATE A FUTURE.

This was one of Thomas’ favorite SKILLS to use and talk about.

It is a fun SKILL to practice and use.

The SKILLSET looks like this:

.1. Look for a cultural trend that catches your attention.

Remember there are a zillion things happening. So the “THING” that catches your attention has a reason for YOUR Heart’s Desire.

This is the mysterious alchemy of Dreams = an experience in the world, sparks something inside of YOU, and you KNOW you want / need to be a part of it.

.2, Imagine what society and culture will be like in 10 years if this trend continues

(Thomas said to look 50 years, but I think that window is way too big for the current speed of change)

.3. THEN… this is the key SKILL… find your place to participate in it.

You don’t have to MAKE it happen because its happening. The skill is to find your way to participate in the flow.

.4. Transform this into Goals and Plans while keeping it “light”

Thomas said “It’s fun to identify projects that will accelerate the vision.” At the same time, he was pretty emphatic about NOT getting your identity wrapped up in the vision you were playing a part of. (This part is a growth opportunity for me)

.5. SHARE your vision with people you talk with

As a Human Connection Player /Coach / Business owner one of the BIG Human Connection SKILLS is sharing your Dream with people. Let it be a magnet for potential companions, customers, allies etc. When you share about what you see happening and how you are playing a part, some people will energize around the vision with you.

THESE are your people for this next phase of your life.

Remember: The SKILL of Dreaming is choosing your direction in life for a period of time… and finding companions to adventure with.

EXAMPLE

The trend I see is the proliferation of AI generated content and AI bots engaging like humans in online platforms.

So…

One way I could play a role in this trend would be to train an AI Coaching Bot based on my 28 years of writing and recording TONS of content and coaching sessions.

The TWIST…

However, I HATE this idea.

Instead, my vision is to play a role in guiding Humans to reclaim their Human Connection SKILLS so that they can engage with other humans in ways “bots” cannot and will never do.

For example…

Bots can’t Dream.

Bots can’t BE FREE

Bots can’t Befriend, Become, Believe or Belong!

They can only simulate… but it will NEVER be real.

And… they can’t go to an in-person event and meet potential clients / allies!

But YOU CAN!

The problem is… in the toxic Industrial Culture we treated each other “like robots” and squashed each other’s human skills. But now the real robots are coming, and we need to get our Human Connection SKILLS back… FAST.

This is where Human Connection Power Coaching comes in.

HUMANS ARE AWESOME!

I am pretty new at talking about this, but I have lots of passion for it.
